This standard was reviewed in relation to the allegations and found to be deficient. The two play equipment were placed back to back towards each other which is against the manufactured instructions and it lead to a child?s injury.

It was determined that inappropriate discipline methods were used when a caregiver popped a child on the hand.

At the inspection, 3 out 10 personnel records reviewed did not complete the required 24 hours of annual training. One caregiver needs 6 hours of annual training, the 2nd caregiver needs 20 hours of annual training and the 3rd caregiver needs 10 hours of annual training.

This standard was reviewed in relation to the allegations and found to be deficient. A caregiver who is no longer employed at the facility was observed popping a child on their hand.

This standard was reviewed in relation to the reported allegations and found to be deficient. The caregiver was found to be grabbing a child by the wrist when walking with the child and grabbing a child in the classroom.

This standard was reviewed in relation to the reported allegations and found to be deficient. There was sufficient evidence to support that a caregiver was using harsh language with the children when speaking to them and about them to others within ear shot.

This Minimum Standard was found to be out of compliance through an investigation. Pediatric CPR was found to be out of date for an employee of the daycare.

During the walk through a television was observed inside one of the care rooms on a cart not anchored down. This was corrected at inspection when staff removed the television from the classroom.

During the inspection a caregiver was obsesrved swatting a child on the leg in the lunch room when the child was not obeying.

During inspection, an infant was in the high chair table without straps. This was brought into compliance when the infant was removed from the table.

During inspection an infant was observed sleeping in a restrictive device with an empty bottle in their lap. This was corrected when I advised the caregiver of the standards and asked caregiver to remove child from device.

This standard was reviewed in relation to the reported allegations and found to be deficient. The operation was not allowing parents in the building with an open door policy and did not have a pandemic policy in place for the parents or have them sign off on this policy.
