The director reported that a caregiver was seen using inappropriate discipline with a child in care. Based on the evidence, the allegation was supported. The caregiver responsible is no longer employed at the daycare. An emergency meeting was held with all remaining staff and standards were reviewed, and staff were given additional training on appropriate discipline to help ensure there are no future incidents.
