A child sustained a broken femur. The caregiver was unaware of the injury. Medical stated this type of injury is immediately noticeable and the child would cry. The child did cry and the staff saw similar signs of the child's constipation. However, the child could not bear weight which not a symptom of his constipation. The parent was not informed of this other symptom. The child was crying from the end of nap to pick up at 5:55pm.
