The standard is evaluated for a standard investigation and is not found compliant. A child made an outcry to a parent that a caregiver pinched them which poses a risk to bodily harm.

This standard was evaluated as part of an investigation by the Department of Family and Protective Services and was found to be deficient. The caregiver's actions were aggressive and included grabbing and verbal threats. Witnesses reported the caregiver yanked a child's jacket, pulled a child by the wrist, and used threats to control behavior. Multiple interviews with caregivers confirmed these actions, indicating a pattern of aggressive behavior.

A caregiver was present in the toddler classroom without having an active status on their background check. This was corrected at inspection when the caregiver left the classroom.

One of the six children records reviewed was missing a complete immunization record; their immunization record did not meet the requirements specified by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS).
