This standard was evaluated during the investigation and was found to be deficient. Caregivers left a child in the restroom of a classroom while they took the rest of the class outside on the playground. The child was left alone in the restroom for approximately 15 minutes before being found by another caregiver.

During the investigation video was reviewed which showed that after a caregiver changed a child's diaper the caregiver set the child on the ground to play and did not ensure that a child had washed their hands.

A caregiver did not wash hands with soap and running water after changing a child's diaper but instead guided the child to enage in a table activity. When CCR inspector brought hand washing to her attention, the caregiver washed their hands with soap and running water.

When CCR inspector brought hand washing to their attention, the caregiver guided the child to the hand washing sink to wash the child's hands with soap and running water.
