The Slide had about 3 feet from the slide to the boarder of the playground area and the stairs to the slide had about 2 feet use zone. For slides six feet high or less, the use zone in front of the exit of a slidemust extend at least six feet. The swings did not have the correct use zone in front or behind the swings. The use zone should be at least 12 feet. The use zone to the front and rear of to-fro swings (single-axis swings)must extend twice the height of the vertical distance from the swing beam to the protective surfacing below.
